Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most famous role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2013 and 2014 for Outstanding supporting Performance on a a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. Her other roles are Jean Ward in The Practice and Martha Bullock from Deadwood. She was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career in Chicago, working in theatre parts for a number of years. Later, she relocated to Hollywood, where she began her acting career in movies and television shows. Anna was cast as Arden on Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. In the early 90s she was a frequent guest in TV and film, such as Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. Skyler was in Breaking Bad (2008). Sully is the Deadwood film and a few other films included her. Gunn is also a part of the stages in David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. She was also a part of the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was released in 2022. The romance with Walter White and his wife Skyler is often the backbone of the plot in Breaking Bad with the strained pull on their relationship and eventually its demise mirroring the same arc of Walter White's final days of life.
